Together with the Centre for Ovarian, Tubal and Peritoneal Cancers, we are the third largest centre in the Czech Republic specialising in all types of gynaecological cancer. Close collaboration between the surgical and oncogynaecology team is the backbone of multidisciplinary approach necessary for the optimal treatment of a wide range of gynaecological tumours. Our multidisciplinary team further comprises radiotherapists, clinical oncologists and other healthcare professionals engaged in comprehensive cancer care. In March 2019, we were granted European Society of Gynaecological Oncology accreditation, which authorises our centre to provide certified training in gynaecological oncology that meets the European standards. We are the third centre with international accreditation in the Czech Republic.
